Functional Application Consultant in UK/EMEA

Depending on previous experience and skill set, your daily work covers the complete implementation cycle from gathering business requirements with the client, designing a solution, implementing it and training the users.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with the salesforce.com platform
  • Client facing experience (ideally in a consultancy environment)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Foreign language skills desirable but not essential

General Skills

  • Experienced, personable and highly motivated individual looking for personal and client success at all times.
  • Professional in all written and verbal communications whether with clients, prospects, colleagues or partners.
  • Willing to accept and adapt to the variety of tasks and skills that are required as a Technical Consultant in the Salesforce arena.
  • Willing to work on multiple small/medium projects running concurrently across different teams with different managers.
  • Willing to work from office, home and to travel to customer site as project work dictates (to date this has been mainly UK and Ireland but Saaspoint is a global organisation so there is potential for some client work to be based in mainland Europe, Middle East, US or elsewhere)
  • 5+ years experience within IT industry

Technical Skills

Ideally 2+ years Salesforce configuration, implementation, integration or customization, including:

  • Salesforce Accreditation.
  • Familiarity with Force.com platform – objects, fields, formula/validation, layouts, record types.
  • Salesforce Data Migration/Integration experience using Data Loader, Excel Connector or direct API programming.
  • Experience of Apex trigger and class development, testing and deployment.
  • Salesforce UI customisation using Javascript/AJAX Toolkit or Flex Toolkit or VisualForce or externally hosted applications using Java/Microsoft technologies with Salesforce API access.

Business Development Executive UK

Territory

England, Scotland and Wales

Role

To be responsible for the generation, management and closure of all sales and business development activity in the UK.

To work closely with Global Professional Services Vice President in order to successfully resource projects.

To work to maintain personal and company professional standards in sales, delivery and support.

To maximise sales opportunities across the Saaspoint group by working closely with all sales and business development staff

To proactively ensure customer satisfaction at all times

Responsibilities

  1. Direct Sales
    a. Build direct sales pipeline through networking and marketing
  2. Indirect Sales
    a. Work with partners to train, qualify leads, develop opportunities
    and close sales
  3. Customer Relationships
    a. Responsible for account managing new and existing customers
  4. Quality & Documentation
    a. Ensure that all relationships, contacts, tasks and activities are
    documented and maintained to the agreed standards.
    b. Ensure that all proposals, contracts and statement of works are
    produced, reviewed and authorised prior to distribution to 3rd parties.
  5. Resources
    a. Provide guidance and support for UK based resources

Requirements

  • Experience in selling the salesforce.com,sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Real Cloud is essential.
  • Current network of business, technology and commercial contacts
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good written skills - able to write proposals and contracts
